Eco-team invites young people from Pljevlja: Join our workshop programme and help shape the future of your city

Eco-team invites young people from Pljevlja to apply for a series of workshops scheduled to take place between 20 September and 20 October.

The call is open to young people aged 14 to 25 from the Municipality of Pljevlja who are interested in gaining new knowledge and skills in the areas of climate change, just transition, green economy and green jobs.

Recognising the changes that Pljevlja will undergo in the coming years, the importance of actively involving young people in shaping the future of their city, as well as the need for greater access to non-formal education opportunities, Eco-team has developed a programme that combines learning, exchange of experiences and practical work.

The programme consists of three workshops led by mentors with extensive experience in youth work.

Rather than long and exhausting lectures, participants can expect dynamic and diverse activities, teamwork, exchange of experiences, group discussions and learning through practical activities.

The programme aims to provide young people with a safe and supportive environment where they can develop their potential, freely express their views and ideas, while supporting their transition into adulthood and empowering them to participate more actively in their local community.

In addition to gaining knowledge about the topics covered during the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to develop skills that are valuable in everyday life, including self-confidence, personal and social responsibility, decision-making and communication skills.

Participants who complete the workshop programme will receive a certificate of participation, which may be useful when applying for exchange programmes, internships, educational and youth programmes, and other opportunities.

All interested young people can apply by completing the online application form: https://tinyurl.com/mwcwtvhp

Applications are open until 20 September.

We look forward to seeing you!

The workshop programme is implemented within the project “Youth Voice in the Just Transition of Pljevlja”, supported through the programme “SYNERGY Montenegro – Strengthening Youth Networks and Empowering Resilient Groups and Young People in Montenegro”, implemented by the Centre for Civic Education (CCE) in partnership with the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) and NGO Multimedijal Montenegro, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, with financial support from the European Union and co-financing from the Ministry of Regional Investment Development and Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organisations.
